M-EET Your Match

GMCVO has been working with Manchester City Council to create and develop a pre-employment opportunities website for providers to use to support young people in Manchester who are not in education, employment or training: M-EET Your Match.

The site is now live with more opportunities being added weekly.

M-EET Your Match lists different types of pre-employment opportunities like volunteering, educational courses, work placements, life and employment skills courses as well as Level 2 apprenticeships. The site is easy to navigate, and all the offers can be searched for by category. You can find full information about an opportunity like location, duration, suitability and any deadlines. If you are supporting young people you can register an interest on their behalf and this will arrange for the provider to contact them via a method of their choosing like email, text or phone with more details.

We are looking for providers with relevant pre-employment opportunities across Manchester to promote their offer on the website. It is quick and easy to do by uploading your opportunity onto the website by filling in the online form. Please note the site will not host job opportunities other than Level 2 apprenticeships.

The site has been co-developed by the GM's Hidden Talent Youth Panel, so that the design, content and additional information reflect young people’s priorities for how the site should look and feel.
